Obviously, they were doing everything possible to overturn that call. It's supposed to be overwhelming evidence. Even the Dodgers' announcers were saying they didn't see anything to overturn that call. There needs to be a time limit on that bullshit. If they haven't seen evidence that call should be overturned within 60 or 90 second, the call stands.

I think he probably was. But they did not show a single angle to prove that conclusively. And that has always been the standard.

Maybe they are privy to a different angle in New York. Or maybe they just called it the Dodgers way for the hell of it.

You're talking about the angle from behind home plate right? You cant actually see the glove touch his face from that direction, and from the other direction his face doesn't react to any tag.

No matter what happens tonight, he's matched Kershaw. With almost an entirely new infield of backups, and a 4th string catcher.
