With all that said Ohtani is capable of a shutout and hitting for the cycle in the same game!

A total mathematical anomaly, but he could.

Would that be the greatest individual performance in the history of sports?

Would it trump Chamberlain's 100, Ali's fights, Gretzkey games?

If it were not for the no-dunking rule at the time  he would have made 25 of 26. He had 4 baskets taken away due to offensive goaltending.

While still great performances a few of the basketball examples specifically Chamberlain and Kobe in a couple of those games were fed the ball.
