I thought the trade with Atlanta was ok but, at least at this point, I'd probably rather have Walden....his numbers with the Braves are pretty good, although he had an arm issue earlier in the year also...

Folks in Atlanta thought Hanson would be better off being a RP moving forward. Forearm means elbow. Not good.

It was a good risk? How so? How many Cy Young Awards has he won? How many times has he lead the Braves rotation into the World Series? Fact is, he has been awful, largely absent (not all his fault on that count), and yes, he is damaged goods - just like Madson. Another fact, those two are doing nothing other than absconding with large amounts of money they have not worked for  or earned.
