Law & Havens Destroy Your Hopes

On most days the 6/7 spots will be occupied by two of Drury/Walsh/Urshela. There’s nothing wrong with that.
Last two spots C & SS - Rengifo is terrific vs LHP, Fletcher can be as well. Will concede it’s a weakness vs RHP. Catcher is a wild card - O’Hoppe projects to be fantastic, Stassi has been good before his terrible 2022.
This over the top negativity feels like willful ignorance

I’m looking forward to seeing that lineup in action.  Fletcher may work well enough against RHP, not ideal but is a good defender.  Plus, it wouldn’t be the same without him.

The Angels are going to need a good bit of luck to get into the playoffs.  They need Trout to stay healthy.  They need Rendon to not be terrible and they need him to be healthy.  Among other things.  They’re definitely better on paper than they’ve been.  But the division is tough and they need all this stuff to go right.   Anyway the games are played on the field.  We’ll see.  I don’t think Law and this other guy are being unreasonable to be skeptical.

It was a pretty lazy take. "The Halos are always bad so they'll be bad again" type of thing.  Honestly it came across exactly like the typical casual fan.  Law is a prospect guy, stuff like this makes it easy to discount his opinions outside of that arena.

Im sure we will see plenty of other national guys hold a similar view, most still think the pitching was bad last year.

But the quickest route a franchise can take in building a winner is simply to avoid giving playing time to scrubs, players under 1.0 WAR.

The nice thing about adding Urshela and Renfroe, they don't need to repeat their 120 OPS seasons, simply being league average will be significantly better than what they had.
