I am assuming it would take more than Fletcher and Stassi to get him...he is still a good player....

I like Tucker Barnhart as a FA option. Think he has some good years in him stills but he’s more of an everyday guy, or at least seeking everyday role, I would imagine.

True...and he still has 3 years plus an option year.....pretty steep, even if he is a good player.....but the more money they take back (Fletcher, Stassi), the better a prospect we would probably need to include...

I agree that the Angels are willing to spend on the "right" player.  It does seem Minasian's trend so far is to bid for catchers.  And, of course, he did flip Marsh for O'Hoppe.  I think Minasian places a huge emphasis on catching talent, much in the same way his former boss (Anthopolous) does.
