We just bought a loveseat and couch from la-z-boy and they have electric reclining functions.  Of the three separate reclining parts, 2 are already broken and when I’ve tried to call to get it fixed I’ve just sat on hold for like an hour before giving up.

We also had to wait 4 months for delivery.

Yeah my dad has one of those where it tilts all the way forward to help him get up and it broke in the reclining position twice.

Ours has the electronic reclining as well. I actually hate it because it takes too long to operate. I don't have patience for that BS

We have had our electric La-Z-Boy love seat recliner for 5 years,  no issues.  It even survived an SCE power surge that kill our Microwave.

If we did have any problems and I couldn't get through on the phone, I would head back to the store where we bought it.
