I really fucking wish Barria had an option. Our depth would be pretty fucking solid. 

I guess as long as he's in the pen he can be an emergency starter but still.

This is the best starting pitching we've had to start a season in a VERY long time. 3 home grown talents.  1 Import and 2 FA's.  Sounds like a balanced style.

Angels cannot afford to dfa Barria unless they get more depth for starters. Maybe a trade for more depth.

I'd hate to see it come to a DFA for Barria but I'm really glad the rotation is good enough that he's not top 6

Right now, Barria (long innings here), Junk, and Diaz are the only real starter depth.   Daniel has a chance to be added to that list by mid-season.

Takes two to trade. I can see plenty of teams not being hot on Barria enough to pull a trade if he was going to be DFAed, and instead taking their chances on the waiver wire.
