This makes sense. It would probably actually make it worse based on this and what @Jeff Fletchersaid. More guys trying to pull for power, more strikeouts.

I say put giant circles out there on the field and the defenders have to stand in them. If they try to move outside them before the pitch they will be ejected into the stratosphere.

Here's an article with details about additional aspects of the new CBA. I thought the arbitration tweaks were interesting.  Starting next year, if a player settles before going to an arbitration hearing and is then released before the season starts, they get paid the full season amount, not a prorated amount.

Let me guess, they only need 6 yes votes to pass any new rule.

Here is a new rule idea. If a player creates a negative WAR that team cannot re-sign him the following year. We can call it the Kurt Cut.

Ohtani rule is a no brainer that should've been included with the original DH rules back in the day.

28 man rosters is awful. More relievers and more strikeouts.

Runner on second in extras is even more awful.

Nope, the old game was a series of stalls and painful to watch. You take away the pitch clock even for one inning and you'll go back to 20 minute innings for 3 outs. They don't drop the clock for the 2 minute warning in football, just keep the game going on pace.

Thats tough. I agree with situations like that, but if its 7-0 then i'd rather move that shit along to get it over with. I assume he'd want that to apply to extra innings as well?
