I think that if he’d be a good bench coach there’s zero chance the Angels would get him.  
 

if he’d be a bad bench coach there’s a chance the Angels will get him.

in all sincerity, i would love it if baseball could figure out a way either strategically or through rule adjustments to let analytics be a part of the game off the field, but play like it's 1985 on the field.
