I think it’s more shitty to conjure up the fantasy necessary to give an ounce of meaning to this series that not one player on the Angels gives a shit about.  Get it over with.  Kudos to the Mariners for hanging around and playing meaningful games.

yea, I mean not one player cares about winning or losing, you are right.  give me a fucking break.  just because you are jaded by the teams performance doesn't mean the players don't want to compete.

I looked at the standings yesterday for the first time in a couple months. It's kind of depressing that there are so many teams in the mix, and the Angels are once again wearing baby floaties in the pool of mediocrity. It's been so long that I barely remember the days where late-season games where nail-biting and exciting because they meant something.

For fans of the MLB, this is an exciting final weekend. But because I'm an Angel fan it might as well be at a vegan dinner party.

Not to worry.  Our real season starts in just a few weeks.  I actually really am looking forward to this off-season.  I’m very convinced that I’ll be ready to fight with people over how the angels are actually not shitty in by mid January.

I always look forward to the off-season, but around November 15 I'm counting down the days to Spring Training.
