Hot Bats Before The M's

Recommended Posts

Despite all the losing some of the bats have been pretty hot of late. Here's hoping these guys can keep it going and hammer the M's. All stats for the last 7 days:

Walsh .476 / .500 / 1.119 OPS

Ohtani .368 / .455 / 1.191 OPS

Rengifo .313 / .421 / .921 OPS

Lagares .308 / .400 / .785 OPS

Marsh .294 / .350 / .644 OPS

Special mention to Taylor Ward who looked really locked in and was 3 for 4 plus a walk in his game and a bit before clouting his ankle on the catcher's knee. Hope he's ok.

(no, I know you were being facetious. Or is it sarcastic? I always get confused at the difference.)

It could happen and I’m not paranoid if people are after me.

Seriously this is a huge moment for the team, especially the young guys.  I thought we could have sold off a bit more but look at it now, these youngsters Walsh, Ward, Adell and Marsh getting to play basically playoff baseball for a weekend.   Talk about player development

The Angels have not been able to hit Marco Gonzales or Chris Flexen, the M's first two starters this series. They're gonna need to, because Seattle's pen has been good this season and I'd imagine all their good relievers will be available to pitch in all 3 games if needed.

doomed oh no GIF by THE NEXT STEP

Yep. They'll have all hands on deck and play this like it's Game 7.  They're so close...

Suzuki has been great, he has over 1.100 OPS in the last couple of weeks.
