All in all a modestly positive couple of days for Angel players. A key defensive play by Walsh. The best defensive play of the game. Also hit the ball well, but caught on a good catch.

Ohtani might have been too eager at the plate, dead pull swings, but right at infielders. A respectable showing at the derby. A nice enough perfect inning pitched, no control problems, high velocity, but no strikeouts. And to add just another bit of historical data to his resume,  the winning pitcher. He wasn't Superman, but a fully deserving all star in two positions.

Well, he's not even eligible to return until the 17th and he hasn't started his rehab assignment.  So, yeah, probably gonna miss at least several more games beyond the 17th.
