It's kind of pathetic watching guys regress as badly as they have. Mayers, Quintana, Bundy, Cishek, Watson, Canning...all of these guys are significantly worse under Matt Wise. They are bottom 3 in BB, bottom 3 in ERA. What does he even do? Does he encourage them to throw balls? Ruin their confidence? It's hard to watch. Just DFA Quintana and Bundy and see what younger guys can do. How can they possibly be any worse than 8+ ERAs?

Yeah, but those pitches to JP were not competitive. He was hoping he'd get himself out. Never once did he throw him a tough pitch.

No real good reason to keep Quintana around. Rather have Barria up as the long-man out of the pen who can give them 4-5 innings.
