won again tonight in toronto, 5-1. this runs their winning streak to 5 in a row. they looked solid all the way around tonight.

road trip takes them to montreal tomorrow night and ottawa on thursday.

sure is fun to watch them play this way.

After the brief CoVid siesta, Kings have a 5-2 homestand with wins over the Rangers and Pens punctuating it.

Three goals in 1:23 last night in the 3rd period sealed the win.

More wins (19) than losses (18) so far, 19-13-5 record 

Youngsters stepped up on the homestand.

That third period against the Pens last night was about as much fun as you hope for at a game.

Sixth win in past seven, a grinder with the Kraken, only 40 SOG combined between the two teams 

19-8-4 after the 1-5-1 start

Second place in the division 

Third fewest goals allowed per game in the NHL, only the Rangers and Hurricane are better.   Tops in the Western Conference 

The youngsters are doing a solid job of controlling and passing the puck.

I don't know if you guys were watching but that's about the worst NHL broadcast I've watched. ESPN fucking blows. The cameras were constantly panning in and out making me dizzy and Sean McDonough is not a hockey PBP man. They idle chattered throughout and rarely actually followed the game. He spent the first 5 minutes saying what should have been said before puck drop but we had to listen to the stupid ass studio crew. I don't understand how a network created solely for sports can do such a pisspoor job of broadcasting them.

As far as the game went, you caught the Avs  on the back end of a back-to-back and still couldn't beat your old buddy Darcy.

Great road trip (4-0-2) concludes with a 5-3 win over the Octopii.

Daneult/Ardvisson/Moore line has been on fire over the past month.

Now they get a 12 day break, which includes other teams making up games lost to CoVid.

Brief 5 minute collapse late against the Oilers was followed up by a huge OT win at Vegas.

Kings engine keeps roaring, 4-1 over the Ducks.

8-1-2 in past 11 games 

All alone in 2nd in Pacific Division, only 3 pts behind the Flames, although the Kings have played two more games

Great puck handle and pass by Byfield on the first goal

Kempe with two more goals, 25 so far

Quick solid, bit of a resurgence this season 

19th straight game with more SOG then the opponents

5-2 over the Isles, five straight wins and 9-1-2 in past 12 games

Still three points behind first place Flames in Pacific Division, although having played two more games.

Thoughts on the closing in trade deadline?

They could be a good spot for Chychrun or Klingberg depending on the price, especially if they can work out an extension for Klingberg
