After a Monday night game vs Seattle that left me asking “What was THAT?”, the Kings get 3 out of 4 points in two tough places to play (Edmonton and Calgary).

Six points up on Vegas with 12 games left, to clinch at least 3rd place and enter first SCP in several years

the team announced yesterday that doughty had wrist surgery and is done for the year.

he's been out about a month so i'm wondering why they waited until now to have surgery.

Too many blue liners are injured, defense has struggled some recently, and totally laid down last night (9 goals allowed).

Fortunately the only back-to-back remaining is the last two games in Seattle and Vancouver, very little travel in between.

Probably need 8 or 9 pts these last 6 games to hold off Vegas.
