Roberts doesn't know about the other unwritten rule about trying to spoil an opposing pitcher's shutout?

Has Dave Roberts even seen a baseball game before?  Supposedly he played baseball in the major leagues.  Supposedly he's been managing baseball teams for a while now.

Does Dave Roberts have brain damage?

Bill must have taken a sip from the wrong drink there.

I wish the statement ended at "he liked the idea."

Right?  A good idea at the wrong time isn't a "good idea" anymore.

I expect a team to compete until the last out - nothing pisses me off more than a team that quits.

I have yet to hear an explanation at what they found so offensive about it.  What, that they're trying to compete?  To get baserunners?  To score runs?

They disrespect the game when they think a team should roll-over for them.

Dave Roberts in August 2020:

“I think the unwritten rules have changed, should change,” Roberts said before the Dodgers faced the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. “And each passing day we’ve got to continue to break some of those rules, and that’s a good thing.”

“Personally, I flipped a little bit more to just playing to win the game and keep playing,” Roberts said.

Thats my question... what "rule" was broken?

Bunting during a no hitter. Ok. Old school rule. But youre not supposed to bunt during a blowout?

What about that intentional walk to Walsh on sunday? Was a one run game. Shouldnt that be a bigger "diss"?
