What exactly does that mean?   Once in a while I see a ride with "In loving memory of ......." 

Are they attempting to use the car as a monument to thier lost child?  Is it to let the 99.999% of people who saw it that a love one passed?  They won't know before and won't think about it more than a few seconds after.

At least locally, I see it especially in Hispanic families.

I think this is an odd practice.

Also, the family stickers.  Usually on a minivan.  I think that's died down now with all the craziness that goes on. 

I have no stickers on my car.  No license plate frame either.  Don't need to promote a dealership or be a target of an overzealous opposing sports fan.
