Each starting pitcher gets one more appearance this spring.

Hope that means each will be stretched out to 5-6 innings in their first reg season start.

Have to drastically reduce the number of 1-3 inning starts in 2021, if they are to contend.

Looks like the opening day lineup.  I wish that Walsh would be in there instead of Old Albert.

Question: When a player with options gets on the AAA express back and forth between AAA and the ML, does someone on the AAA team get demoted back to AA? And does the sequence continues down the line until someone in A ball gets cut? I'm just asking for a friend.

They’re gonna give Pujols opening day out of respect but Walsh will still get the majority of the starts at 1B. Especially if he starts raking like he did last year.

 

You just can’t keep a bat like that out of the lineup for an extended period of time.

I think I’d rather see Suzuki over Stassi on opening day. Unless Bundy is asking for Stassi to catch for him.

Yeah, but sometimes minor league team just do paper transactions. For those, they may send a guy to extended spring training or put him on the IL with them still remaining with the same minor league team but just being off the roster transactionally so that they stay within the roster limits.
