Don't you agree that it's important to have their ducks in a row in case Trump suddenly takes a turn for the worse? In Season 2 of 24 when they invoked the 25th amendment, it only required a 30-minute video call with the cabinet. I'm guessing it's not as expedient in real life.

I'm not sure what grandstanding Pelosi is up to. The succession goes to the Vice President so there is nothing for Congress to discuss. Unless they are preparing for Biden to step down in April.

Government workers doing government things. Go figure.

There are actually real issues they could be working on rather than trying to prosecute the president 24/7. Imagine how different the outcome of Covid could have been if they took the lead back in January and passed some legislation to insure the safety of the citizens rather than playing political games. They all received the CDC updates along with the WHO information, just the same as the White House. They did nothing.

Biden and Harris were participants in that.

The BS impeachment was more important to them

What the left won't say out loud is that they wish the 200K number were 500K or more. No cost too high for power

We have fallen way short of the millions dead in 6 months claim. We've become a nation of underachievers.

Wilson had a stroke so severe he couldn't sign his name. Eisenhower had a heart attack in office. Kennedy was an opioid addict. Reagan was slipping away with Alzheimer's. There is no precedence for Trump to be medically removed from office for...

wait for it...

the flu.

if trump wins next month, they'll spend another four years trying to get him out of office. they detest him that much.

my concerns are that 1) congress really isn't doing much of the work they should be, and 2) they don't know how to work through disagreements. this is an unprecedented time of the lack of cooperation between the two branches.

i also can't remember anyone being as polarizing as trump has been to us as citizens, though i think hillary would have been every bit his equal in this area had she won.

This is a fun narrative, but it falls apart when you learn about the hundreds of House bills that have been sitting on McConnell's desk for a couple years now.

It's hard to get anything done when a fossilized turtle can kill anything you create.
