Hey all Angelswin boys and girls, it is your weekly Corona Virus Poll. I can't believe we are in week 13 it feels like only yesterday that this started, well not really but still. Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. With things opening up more in California maybe things will start to go back to normal here shortly, maybe not but one can hope. Anyway stay safe and hope you guys enjoy.

Memorial Day without baseball was weird but I kind of shrugged it off. 4th of July without baseball, however, is going to be flat-out depressing.

I'm usually pretty social on Memorial Day- I served Veterans for decades and it's a big deal to me.  At least I would have had a few friends over.  Otherwise all is well.  I'm walking alot and in good shape and have a girlfriend.  There's weeds to pull and the floor always needs sweeping.  I did a yoga video I'd share on here if asked.

Hey everyone.  I stopped playing so much Animal Crossing about a month ago, got an Apple Watch and started playing that.  Meaning I’m running three miles a day, eating better, taking afternoon walks if I don’t work.  And oh yeah, my store opened up again so back to the coal mines.  Which is bitter sweet as I was just starting to build a screen accurate ghostbusters proton pack, because I’m a nerd.

 

Still wary of catching anything.  Taking hand sanitizer baths every half hour.  Trying to stay away from mask-less people.  No offense if you decide not to.  You do you.

I've stopped seeing people talk about how staying home saves lives. I guess we're over that part.

Several hotel/casinos reopened at midnight. Live shots along the Strip showed a few people walking along, nothing like the usual crowds. It will take a while before people have the time and the money to come here, and the airlines have resumed enough service to get people here in meaningful numbers.

I will be going to a budget meeting this afternoon when we will learn the projected numbers. It will be incredibly ugly, since we are 25 days from the end of the fiscal year, and the state has had significantly reduced revenue since about mid-March.

Spent the last three weeks emptying lockers of 800 students, bagging their personal contents, coming up with a plan for returning items to students, collecting our textbooks, and then having the pickup days for the grades.  That was an ugly three weeks. 

Lots to do at the school site.  It's pretty safe right now.  There's about 7-9 of us on campus on any given day, and the four custodians are good about cleaning and sanitizing counters and door handles.  Masks are worn.  (It's district policy.) It's good to work though. Burns the calories and keeps the mind sharp. 

School year is officially over and we're waiting on our school board and leadership to tell us what the next year will look like.  We have not created a master schedule yet, which ensures we'll be at the school site creating and populating the students' schedules.
