Because Jars said that Biden is going to win by a landslide.

It's all very confusing.

Right now, the chance of Biden winning in a landslide (+10% popular vote advantage) is 32%. The chance of Trump winning in a landslide is less than 1%.

Edge: Jars

Government-paid, fully-funded healthcare for President Trump. He's so rich (allegedly) and could have paid for it out of his pocket, but he decided to do it on the taxpayers' dime.

A lot of people can afford to pay for their medical procedures but are covered by insurance, Bernie included.

But that's not what Bernie said. He said that Walter Reed provides socialist care based on the fact that they are funded by the government. That's patently false.

I won't get into too much detail but he doesn't like posting here knowing what the admin, as well as many of the posters, support.

He could just stay off this part of the forum but apparently he follows Chuck on Twitter and got upset over the shit he posts and doesn't want to associate with that.

I don't agree with it necessarily but he was one of our best posters and he's gone. We haven't had a decent new user in years and we've lost Glen and ettin to politics. Possibly more.

People will come and go. It happens at work, your local gym or bar and especially on social media and forums.

We've lost several members over the years in LightTheHalo, Eric Denton, Jeremy Brown, Victor, saangels, red321 and Glen, all of which are far left liberals. We've either butted heads on social media or on this website. I never asked them to leave because of their views, they left on their own accord and that's fine.

We get nearly 15 new members a month during the offseason and over 25 a month during the season. If people want to leave, that's fine. It's a free country! You can't make everyone happy. The way I look at it is these people are just names on a monitor or mobile screen, they're not my close friends or family members. Out with the old, in with the new. It's refreshing actually.

In terms of ettin, I'm a bit perplexed because we've shared a cigar and bourbon together and have had personal talks on the phone before. He's always known my politics and it has never been a problem. He could have had a talk with me over the phone or text, or sent me a PM. Instead it appears he's reached out to Tdawg and others about him leaving due to disagreeing with my politics. I've seen his politics on Twitter and they are mean spirited toward the POTUS and conservatives but I never engaged in a conversation with him there or here. Anyhow, I view his talks behind my back as disingenuous. But whatever. I did send him an email today asking to talk on the phone.

I've said this. many times. I have several friends and family members who have completely different views on politics than I do and we get along great in person and online.

I'm guessing if we sat down and had a beer or drink and talked about most of these issues we'd have no problems. It's fine to agree to disagree, but it can be tough to communicate your points without offending someone on here opposed to in person.

Though I would have still called @tdawg87 an idiot in person. 😉

Well this forum is pretty far right. So I don't blame him.

I've considered it. I try to not take it seriously but when the top guys are pretty much QAnon level Republicans it's hard to justify. Plus it's leaked into the main forum.

I don't know one QAnon level Republican on here and if you think I'm one of those I denounced that group months ago on here and on social media.

As far as letting politics leak to the main forum, I've said some things here and there but for the most part I've sent those threads here. @nate does a good job of moving those threads here too. Anyhow, I will make sure to put a lid on any political talk in the main forum. That's on me. I'll take that blame.

Apologies @jsnpritchett.

Yea, my belief is if we are losing that many people because of politics, maybe it is time to shut it down.  Every one of those guys added value to this site.  Some were mods, some were writers.  Those guys are about as left as you are right.  I don’t agree with them, nor do I agree with far right.  Also being glib about losing people isn’t a great look.  I KNOW you value all of those guys, but it reads differently.

You think one of the most active parts of the site should be shut down because certain individuals disagree enough to leave the site?

That's pretty lame. Perhaps those people should just get thicker skin instead of storming off in a huff.

Put the fuckers on ignore that bother you so much instead of having outright wars with them. That is how you can get through these forums without having your feelz all hurt and need to go to your quiet place to pout.

If you do use ignore don't make some butt hurt announcement you've muffled member~x from your social media life, just go on about your day like you would when you take out the trash.

Most of all remember, you, singularly, are just really not as important or smart as you think you are so quit being drama queens.
