I underestimated how many viewers enjoy discussion of hands through the hitting zone, and Pujols' career hitting numbers in Houston.

Yes, enberg and drysdale. They were darn near perfect.

The more I listen to victor and gubi the less I like them. Too much dead air space from them, and too many insider jokes the audience doesn’t know anything about.

He started 2 games in April, the fifth and the ninth, and had a 25.07 ERA after two starts and hung it up.  Thanks, Gubi.

Other teams have star players in their booth.  Jim Palmer for the Orioles, Kirk Gibson for the Tigers, Orel for the Dodgers.  The Angels employ the guy who had a 25 era for them.  So he can tell Angels fans the stories of his glory days with the Royals.

He's as good a broadcaster as he was an Angels pitcher.

Are you looking for some sort of gotcha moment?  I've made it perfectly clear.  I still follow them.  I don't go to games.  I've watched two hours of Angels games all year, yet I probably spend 5 hours a week at Angelswin.com.

 

Any critiques of Gubi could have been made after his first year here.  They wouldn't change now.
