Would it have stopped yesterday's shooters? Don't know. Would it possibly stop future shooters? Maybe. Why not take it up for a vote? Even conservatives heavily favor background checks. What is stopping Mitch?

Dude had serious red flags including being suspended from school for compiling a hit and rape list, not sure if a background check would have captured something like this.
