Shooting at Walmart in El Paso: multiple fatalities

Why are you applying a narrative to Trump that you won't to previous presidents that had a direct responsibility to the same issue?

2 dozen kindergartners or Walmart shoppers, which is more horrific and who is responsible?

Obama was 0% responsible for Sandy Hook. Trump is > 0% responsible for El Paso.

Obama regarding the Ferguson shooting:

Yep, definitely equivalent to Trump calling Mexicans murderers and rapists.

I forgot what it was like to have a president that could form coherent thoughts, and complete sentences.

Remind me when Obama railed against kindergartners.

The dogs of violent hatred can easily be unleashed with the proper degree of presidential example and rhetoric.

Sad to see, but there's not much that can be done to stifle this man. Freedom of speech and all that. He needs to forcefully denounce these people and examine his conscience.

Trump won’t denounce these people.

They’re his base.

These mass shootings are (and have been) common enough for several years that trying to pin any of them on trump or anyone else is misleading. This problem has roots far deeper than someone’s antagonistic words.

Of course it's not all Trump's fault. But his rhetoric has given these crazies just a little bit of extra fuel to carry out their heinous acts.

What did Obama do about the butchery of kindergarten children at Sandy Hook? Did he shut down the production of assault rifles for public sale? Or was he and his party in the hip pocket of the NRA?

He had a Republican Congress, who would approve nothing infringing unfettered firearms access.

If you wonder why I say that Republicans are in the hip pocket of the NRA, here is a list of the 85 members of Congress who have received the most contributions from the NRA (this isn't lobbying money, just campaign contributions). Of that total. 82 are Republicans. The three Democrats all appear near the bottom of the last page. The late Senator John McCain appears on this list.

What motivated the plethora of shooters when Obama was potus?

Other factors. Again, Trump isn't the only factor, but when the president of the United States blatantly rails against certain groups of people, it's no coincidence when violent acts are carried out on those groups of people.
