Why? we let him go for a reason, so did Minnesota. sure, he had a good couple of months, but not so good recently....

This thread is mostly sarcastic by the way.  He has been pretty bad in Minnesota.  Would still easily take him over Luis Garcia.

He was nails in Spring Training 2017.

My guess is this is why they let him go. They felt luck was gonna run out sooner rather than later.

Up until the terrible game yesterday he had a 3.10 era which is better than he was last year. One terrible game doesn't paint the whole picture but some of the advanced stats are a bit worrying.

Garcia has a sexy 96-97 mph heater. both still stink one way or another...

If only Garcia could find command on his pitches.    Could be a solid middle reliever.

But alas, only ONCE in his career did he have a sub 1.45 WHIP.   That year, he managed to walk only 26 in 71 innings.

He did manage to be solid at not giving up the gopher ball before this season (just 18 HRs in 245 inn).   This season?   Ugh, 8 HRs in 37 inn so far
