In case you missed it Cowart to Fletcher to Fernandez was a really nice double play to end the White Sox first inning.

I love Gubi, he is so wrong so often. He just says Cowart has to be ready early for the fastball and the first two are off speed.

That was the funniest thing that could have been yelled by a fan on the foul tip in the dirt/glove while Scioscia was arguing it was a catch.

"It's not the playoffs!"

Oh and fuck Doug Eddings the jackass.

That's why he usually just sticks to reading the info displayed on the screen.

Kold Kalhoun is back. The last 11 games he is hitting . 216 and the last 5 hitting .125. Too late in the season for another mystery ailment for 10 days on the DL.

yeah, I dont like this lineup with Kole at the top, and havent for a few games, now. Especially with Fletch doing so well. Kole is under .200 in his last 15 games.

Fletch, Trout, Ohtani, Upton, Simmons (when playing), Fernandez, etc.

Hidden in those numbers is a .400 OBP so while he is not clobbering the ball he is taking a large share of walks. Still, I don't see Calhoun as a true leadoff hitter and hope Fletcher can improve his OBP to take that role.

Hawk Harrelson after Trout takes the backwards K: I would not say 'he gone' to Mike Trout. Reasonable wow.

Lopez is pitching well. His offspeed pitches are hitting marks which really improves his fastball value.

Upton was late on the fastball after the offspeed was just off the plate. Now Fernandez guessed first pitch fastball and was way ahead of an offspeed pitch. From 83 to 98 and all on corners or challenging lots of the plate, Lopez is dealing.

Can't complain about Heaney right now, he has kept his pitch count low. His fastball settles at 93 but he is really moving batters off the plate. The umpire just isn't consistant with his strike zone and that leaves fewer go to zones to pitch to.

these White Sox uniforms are fantastic good for them

they were ugly back then and they're still ugly now.

All uniforms look better with high socks and twice as nice with stirrups. Never liked the full length pants.

Damn, Kold doesn't pull it but doesn't get the liner through the infield for the third out. Still a bunch of zeros on the board.
