Hurts is a class act, unlike Clemson QB Kelly Bryant.

Three loss Purdue, yet.    Defense does win championships normally, except for rare exceptions like the 2005 Texas team.

sorry, Tank, but I took Purdue +14 that day. Purdue was 3-3, but had lost their first 3 games by a total of 8 points.

Wazzu though is just one questionable call against USC away from being in the playoff picture.    November/PAC-12 title game will tell once and for all if they are playoff worthy.

It's an emotional story, coming after the tragic off-season death of expected starting QB Tyler Hilinski.   Gardner Minshew has been a man, stepping in and leading them to a Top Ten ranking.  

Right now, Wazzu and Utah are the clear top two PAC-12 teams, and on a collision course at the PAC-12 title game (assuming getting past each of their rival schools).
