Tot in another thread brought up a point about Valnobuena's .800+ career OPS against the M's.

He gets one last chance in these 9 July games with the M's.   He produces a .600 OPS in those games, and he then has to be DFA'd or traded for gumballs.

It's been THREE months.   How long should a team wait for a player to hit his stride?    He hasn't strung more than a few games together all season.

They only owe him just under $4 million.
