The analogy is valid. Overpaying for over the hill veterans, a plethora of injuries to the starters and position players. Poor owner(s). Large market. But they are about 20 mil behind us in overall payroll.

The Mets have an incredible 89 million in salary on the DL.

The only way you will read something dumber is if you go on the POTUS website Twitter account. This president doesn't really use OFFICIAL channels much.
