Upton gets us two runs with a HR, gives back two with his defense. Just effing great.

Dude he lost it in the lights.  It happens.  Sure his defense in the past has been subpar, but this was completely different.

i remember him dropping a ball in his very first game with us in Texas that cost us runs, he did the same against the Indians last week, he also runs like he's in cement allowing balls to drop in front of him.

his bat is very good, but he is a liability in the field.

And none of those things that happened in the past have anything to do with losing a ball in the lights.

So many people overreacting about this game, there's a reason teams don't win 1062 games, pitchers get tired, bullpen arms get overused and the best hitters go into slumps.

Another reason is there isn’t 1062 games in a season.

Lol.  So the other 90 OF playing tonight don't have the sun or lights to deal with?

Are you saying he didn’t lose it in the lights?  How fucking stupid.  A line drive in the lights causes problems.  That is what happened, and I don’t know how anyone can actually pretend that wasn’t the case.

anyone else think the C flap could be causing him problems,

Donaldson mentioned how it cut off some of his vision on certain pitches, arm angles.

On the flip side: If you include the Sept/Oct of last year Trout has been below par so this could be considered 3+ straight months he has been kind of bad

I'm saying MLB players........um..... single A players..... are expected to not lose balls in the lights.  You're saying he lost in the lights like that's a fair excuse.  Today I coached my kids little league team on how to block the sun with their gloves.
