I have only done the shuttle once, and even though I didn't dally around after the game, I barely made the last shuttle back. I was the only passenger on the bus.

Well that sucks.

Maybe park at one of the casinos and take the monorail to MGM?

Really for Tmobile arena.  Best option for locals is probably parking at Bellagio or any of those 4 corner casinos, and taking the tram to Park MGM.  Not many know about the tram.  Especially tourists, since it's tucked away behind Park MGM with little signage.
