Maldonado is fine. The amount Scioscia has played him is not. If Sosh doesn't trust the other guys in the system to play 40-50 games a year, then Eppler has to go get another catcher

Playing Maldonado 145 games doesn't do anyone any good

liked the way Upton hustled down the line there......

with Pujols, the infielder can back up on the ball,  not field it cleanly, have to pick it up off the ground and still get Pujols by a wide margin limping down the line.
