Photography Club

There's some new functionality being introduced on AngelsWin.com...CLUBS. So, let's see how it works.

For those of you interested in photography...whether you like taking photos, have questions about how to take better photos...or just like looking at the work of others...feel free to stop on by.

The club is open to all, and doesn't require you to join to peruse and post.

 

 

please note...I'm sure you think your kids are good looking...please don't make us look at them...I'm sure your mom can give you plenty of likes on facebook.

Yes, in your notifications.

This is red's join with me post in the hangout forum.  When you go to his actual club, there is no where to join like the Northwest one.

@gotbeer, it doesn't let you join? I thought I made it public so anyone could join, read, post, etc.

I can read and post.  But no option to join.

Maybe it's because I made it public and didn't state you had to join.

I think it's because Red's club is a Public club and mine is Open.

Now I don't feel special, I'm not going to see all the little icons of the people who join our little club

Club Types

Four types of club are available:

• Public clubs
  Clubs that anyone can see and participate in without joining.
• Open club
  Clubs that anyone can see and join.
• Closed club
  Clubs that anyone can see in the directory, but joining must be approved by a Club Leader or Club Moderator. Non-club-members who view the club will only see the member list - not the recent activity or content areas.
• Private club
  Clubs that do not show in public, and users must be invited by a Club Leader or Club Moderator

As the site admin, you can of course configure which club types can be created and by whom. You could, for example, allow members to create public and open clubs, but allow a "VIP" group to also create Closed and Private clubs.

I am into photography and have an Instagram. What do you guys think. I am an amateur and just enjoy talking photos. I don't use fancy programs or filters.

join the club...there's no shame inusing a phone...the best camera is the one you have with you...and most of the time that's your phone.
