Here Comes the Judge

I wonder if Trout would've continued to outpace Judge in hitting and HRs.

Maybe not in HR's but I think Trout would have kept up his hitting pace. Judge has a BABIP of .432. He's due for some correction there. Trout's BABIP was .361(right in line with his career average of .360)

Nice hanger by Norris.  Judge was taken two picks before the one we gave away for Josh Hamilton.

Oppo into the marine layer and 15 rows up.  Dude is a beast.  I hope a donkey kicks him in the balls.

So you're saying the Angels never had a chance to get him even if they hadn't signed Hamilbum. Good post.

Angels during the Hamilton signing would not have had a clue to draft Judge even if they had a time machine.  Dipoto would have found a way to fuck it up.  So happy he drafts for the Mariners now.  Good for the Yankees and Judge.  Nothing wrong with teams drafting and developing their own talent.  Just wish the Angels were better at it.

I've been saying that for years but the Angels thought that they could buy a championship. That plan failed miserably. Hopefully Eppler stays away from aging and declining high cost free agents moving forward.
