As far as I'm concerned this lineup did their job. They avoided being no-hit so mission accomplished. This will be the standard for any games going forward without Trout

Talent wise they gotta be in the bottom 5 or 6 tbh. With Trout gone they have no impact/all-star player on the roster. Not many teams can say that.

Doesn't help that the few above average players they do/did have are either playing like crap or are also hurt - Calhoun, Pujols, Escobar, Richards, Skaggs, Bedrosian

Nolan Fontana was named after Nolan Ryan and is the grandson of Braves great Lew Burdette. Closest he'll get to the Hall of Fame, probably.

Consider they were on pace to finish around .500, and Trout was on pace to be worth about 12 wins, this means without Trout they are a ~70 win ~90 loss true talent team.

Cron was sent down in order to learn how to hit a baseball, the grand slam notwithstanding.
