Trout and eight other guys who are trying to figure out how to hit a baseball, against a Mets team struggling with injuries and bad pitching.

This should be fun.

Wheeler can be dominant, but he runs up high pitch counts with difficulty putting away hitters so he usually only lasts 5 - 6 IP.

The key is to let him wear himself out, and then get into the weak links of their bullpen.  Be careful with Mike Conforto as he is dangerous.

Cespedes, Wright, and Familia all out with injuries.

Familia will miss at least four months after surgery for a blood clot in his shoulder. He had 51 saves last year.

Angels transferred RHP Andrew Bailey from the 10-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list and optioned RHP Doug Fister to High-A Inland Empire.

Cespedes could return next week.  Wright is done permanently on the 60 day DL ( He can't throw with his back / neck / shoulder issues )

Syndergaard won't return until late July / August,  the starting catcher & SS are on the DL and 2 SP are rehabbing now Matz who is in the rotation and Lugo who has a partially torn UCL after the WBC.

Keuchel headed to the DL with a pinched nerve in his neck. Maybe that will slow down the Astros' juggernaut a bit.

edit: Okay, forget that. He's expected to miss only one start.
