They always do that against us, they freaking grind our pitchers. I'm not sure if they're always like that against other teams, but they play us like we're the frickin' Yanks every time.

I think Glaus injury 2004.  Salmon injuries cut his career short.  GA was a perennial all Star and the team had a great shot for a WS title then he get arthritis.  Who was batting fourth in the playoffs?  Some guy who couldn't hit out of the park in batting practice.

You could also add Weaver losing his velocity and became a little league pitcher
