why is this thread 7 hours old and yet mine is the first response? there were nearly riots in the streets on this board when it was announced he was going to be a member of the NSC.

Having the Sec of Energy on the council is a really good idea. Well unless Rick Perry is the said Sec of Energy.

Anything that removes Bannon from the levers of power is a good thing.

The idea that Kushner might be playing an ever bigger role (I'm losing track...fix government, setting foreign policy, and I think he's out killing ISIS this week...when does the dude sleep?) doesn't really ease concerns in the long run.
