Anyone know what channel the Angels v Dogs game is on for Thursday night? I can't find it on my Directv guide.

free tv for some Angels games with superior quality than MLBtv. $25 investment. That's the only time I use it. I also have MLBtv with a proxy server.

Which means it's a basic Cable channel on most all SoCal service providers and with with an antenna.

This is, iirc, the third year that Dogs games won't be seen by a solid part of SoCal.

Not in Riverside county.It is against the law now for our cable provider to show basic channels from LA, KCOP,KTLA,KNBC,KCBS,KTTV,KABC,KCAL.

Yes it does, but they had last nights game blocked because they said they didn't have the rights to broadcast it.

I live in Buena Park. Stupid Law Oh well.

Years ago We used to turn our roof antenna while someone was watching channel 8 until we could pick up the Rams playing the Chargers in San Diego. Not sure that would work with digital TV though. Anyway there are very few games on local broadcast channels during the season until the World Series.

I watched the game on both channels and certainly liked the Angels broadcast better.  The Dodger broadcasters did not keep up with the pitcher rotations and since many Angel pitchers that pitched last night are heading to the minors, it was confusing.  The Angels broadcast had the pitchers name and pitches thrown above the scores.
