Disney to get $580M tax break for moving California jobs to Florida

Oh is that all.  Calolfornia will have no problems matching it.  I wonder what's extra, low bums and crime?

Quote

Disney said in the application that it had considered building the regional campus in the Burbank/Glendale area, New York City and Bristol, Conn., but the company’s decision to move to Florida was influenced by the state incentives, affordable housing, low or no state income taxes and “excellent schools that are not at capacity, proper commuter roads and transportation services, etc.”

SF mulls steep congestion tax on drivers who make $100K or more

The authority's Downtown Congestion Pricing Study team is still weighing different options, but all three of the scenarios currently being considered would charge a $6.50 fee to enter the congested pricing zones during weekday rush hours for folks who make $100,000 or more, with discounts for lower-income individuals, drivers with disabilities, and people who live in the areas impacted. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that commuters making less than $46,000 would not pay a fee at all.

Just another reason to leave Frisco

There is a proposal to do this in the LA Downtown as well.

The biggest congestion in Downtown LA are the bums begging in the streets.  And the delivery trucks double parking on a two lane road.

Freeways are fubar.  But good luck making them into toll roads. There would be a bit of a bit of pushback on that one.

Oh shit.  There is a recall in 2 months.  Got to pull the kids for optics.  Must shut down.

He’s running a prevent defense at this point. Every decision he will make will reflect that

News is already putting their bias in there by hammering home this is a republican vs a democrat thing.  And not a governor that shut everything down, shuttered small business, taxes everything to oblivion, has a huge homeless problem, has a huge crime problem, has a crumbling infrastructure, ranks closest to the bottom in education, a crushing retirement debt load, and constantly goes against his own mandates.    Did I miss anything or is it a republican vs democrat thing?

He’s cursing in this interview because he’s just really passionate about us middle class folks. Also lol at him completely ignoring the specific items the reporter asked him about.
