Do you think Trout will go the all-around player route or just great slugger route in 2017?

All-Around Trout hits for high average, a good amount of home runs, steal bases, and play great defense.

Slugger Trout doesn't hit for great average but will hit a lot of home runs with not that many stolen bases.

 

Trout actually only stole 1 base last April, before finishing with 30 stolen bases. So, he picked it up. So, do you think we will see all-around Trout (2016) or slugger Trout (2015) in 2017?

I guess it will depend on how well they are hitting behind him too. I think we see similar numbers from 2016

He's still only 25.   No reason to play any differently a year later

But in the modern MLB, if you look at most of the great hitters, their SB numbers really went down as they aged.

Yeah,  well at 25 Trout really hasn't made it to that aged point.

Mantle hit .365 when he was 25.
