RIP Leonard Cohen

Recommended Posts

This makes me sad.

His Leonard Cohen Live in London Album (there are a few live ones...this is my favorite though) is brilliant. Even in his late years he was still kicking ass.

Washington Post did a great write up on him this morning.

Ugh. I was just saying last month that I love Bob Dylan, and he is deserving of Nobel Prize in literature.

But personally, I've always felt Cohen was just on another level.

Sad times for poetry and music.

I've been humming Waiting for the Miracle and Future a lot lately.

Great piece about him in the New Yorker couple months back: http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/10/17/leonard-cohen-makes-it-darker/amp?client=safari#
