The Angels should win at least 40 more games this season. Maybe today will be one of them.

I noticed on Monday that Trout felt a twinge of something while swinging his bat. He stayed in until late. He's off today. I hope it has nothing to do with my imaginary twinge and is simply giving his knees a break from playing on that gadawful concrete floor of the St. Pete YMCA gym.

I read where ESPN's Jim Bowden suggested the Rangers and Rays are talking about Odorizzi. The Rays are said to be looking for a prospect bat of the Gallow, Profar or Lewis Brinson type. No deal is near but the ever reliable "talks are continuing" line wraps up the paragraph.
