GB, I've been thinking about it a lot the last couple of days.  I think I'd take Duchene over Landeskog.  He bring that speed and high skill element that we really need. I also feel like Colorado is more apt to deal him.  Thoughts on Duchene ?

Duchene would be good also.  But from what I've been reading in the rumors, they are really asking the moon for him.

I need to start paying attention to those.  I would have guessed that Landeskog would be the guy they'd be looking to keep.  Being under control and the captain.  Also,  McKinnon makes Duchene kind of the redundant.

There was contact but it's pretty minor.  From here in the stadium it looks like it could go either way.  What they saying on the broadcast ?

The Islanders have been on Duchene’s trail since November, hoping that Avs GM Joe Sakic was ready to break up his underachieving core. Duchene would fill plenty of needs for the Isles and has two more seasons at a $6-million cap hit left. But Sakic is asking for big pieces in return: a top-flight defenseman, a good young prospect and a No. 1 pick at minimum. Although Edmonton already won tonight, they really are over working Talbot as their starting goalie, he's already at 54 games started & will be burned out in the playoffs. He also has very little playoff experience, 2 games & sub .900 SV%.
