Yep and you haters will blame this shitty season on him rather than on lack of talent and injuries.   You'll look back and say we only won 65 games and we were predicted to win 77, so Mike sucks.  All the while you'll give him no credit for winning 98 games but all the blame for only winning 65.

Couldn't agree more

The thought that we'll sit here all summer with people who actively root for the team to lose so they get a better pick in the draft is nauseating.

It's not a pleasant thought.   But if this org's scouting was up to snuff compared to other orgs, it wouldn't be as big of a discussion item.   Some are concerned that these scouts can't find a good first rounder unless it's easy for them due to being an early pick.

Really odd that Angels fans are moping and whining about injuries. The Rangers have far more injuries and you don't see Rangers fans throwing in the towel. We're playing without our ace (Darvish), number three starting pitcher (Griffin), closer-of-the-future (Kela), two star outfielders (Choo and Hamilton) and our starting catcher (Chirinos). The only difference is our guys on the DL are more talented. Simmons? What's he batting now, .190?  Please... cry me a river.

Did you just refer to choose and Hamilton as star players? You and pujols would probably get along

Would you rather the Angels become the MLB version of the NJ Devils ? The Devils despite having the worst farm system still keep trying to make the playoffs while being in denial their roster can't compete for a playoff spot & they miss out on #1 or #2 overall draft pick that could actually turn things around for them in the future. Not just the 1st round but having the top pick in each round helps too.

It will suck if the Angels become just like the NJ Devils & keep trying to patch holes & end up with 75-80 wins every year all while getting a mediocre draft position.

The idiotic superfans will blame the injuries. This team was never good. Injuries are to be expected.

It's really cute that you think Hamilton is still a "star outfielder".

And how's that working out for the Astros? Only losers root for losses.
