He still isn't throwing from a mound. Started playing catch again about a week ago but sounds like his return is still a long way off.

Hey Dochalo, where the heck is the flexor muscle? Typically how long does it take to heal a "strained muscle??

inner part of the forearm attaches at the elbow.  a strain is common in males attempting to create friction over a cylindrical object.........and baseball pitchers.  

 

recovery is variable especially when it's a pitcher.

So unsurprisingly it seems the Angels went in for another look to see if the original diagnosis was correct.
