I would love to see the Angels to play the Cubs in the WS because you just know something oddball will happen against the Cubbies to prevent them from winning.

I guess by nature I always go against the strongest teams, hoping the underdog wins it if it's not the Angels.

thats not fair. Joe was a great manager with TB, too. Intil he lost some guys, then forgot how to manage. Now that he has good players again, he remembered how.

Its like how sosh forgot how to manage everyone except trout.

Arte's biggest mistake was hiring Dipoto who had very little GM experience instead of hiring a President of Baseball Operations type (like the Cubs) and allow that person to hire a GM. Who knows, Scioscia might've been sent packing already.

I don't understand the Cubs hype. They have a solid rotation, a couple of good relievers, and a lineup that'll be lucky to produce three league-average players.

The Cubs are stacked and loaded for many years to come, they're about to become this decade's Red Sox or Giants, trust!

 

And I'm actually pretty happy for them and their fans, if anyone deserves to win it's them for sure, just hope theirfans stay cool though.

Arrieta struck out six, walked four and threw 119 pitches in his second career no-hitter. The reigning National League Cy Young award winner improved to 4-0 on the season and lowered his ERA to 0.87. In his previous start last Saturday, Arrieta limited the Colorado Rockies to five hits in eight shutout innings.

The Cubs have a +60 run differential. All the AL teams with positive run differentials, combined, are +57.

Granted winning a game 16-0 this early into the season is going to warp the RD stats, but they are a very good baseball team.

National league is going to be interesting this season. Cubs are far from a lock ... like always, the good teams that manage to stay healthy will be there in the end. Cubbies have already lost Schawber for the season.
