There are no answers in the minors. It is time to seriously consider rebuilding. What kind of return can we get for Kendrick, Aybar, Conger, Callaspo, etc.

If Dan Tillman and R.J. Alvarez can find the strike zone, I'd start there.  If Mike Morin keeps hitters effectively off balance and guessing, I'd consider doing that as well.  As an emergency, Austin Wood.

 

But I don't think any of it will be necessary.  Downs, Frieri, Burnett and DDLR will be back and ready to go for Seattle.  Maronde looked decent last night and has a history of performing in the majors.  Carpenter should've never been promoted in the first place, he was trying to find himself in AAA.  Kohn is showing some positive signs but he's another pitcher that has some kinks to work out.  Madson should be back in a month, which could be a big boost.  Roth has proven to be effective is 3 innings and shorter stints.  Last night he simply ran out of gas.
