Good for him. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Halos give him a 3-4 year deal. Didn't realize he was 28 already. Definitely shows the difference of going the HS route vs. college route.

it means he gets to go to arbitration an extra (4th) time so yes, he'll be making more monies.

He's a 2.5-4 WAR player that does a lot of things well with very few weaknesses.  Though he is trending downward that concerns me as I think the wear and tear of playing more games was getting to him this past season.  I'll wait and see to sign an extension after this season.

Probably not.  MLBTraderumors already had him as a super 2.  So I'm thinking the Angels already knew he would be.  Estimated at $3.6 million.  His last year of service though might become expensive.

Calhoun is one of Eddie Bane's draft picks from 2010.

Considering how bad the first round was for the Angels, its funny their best player in that draft was drafted much later.

Guy is totally underrated and brings grit to this team.

 

In clutch situations besides Trout I'd pretty much rather have him there more than anyone currently on the team.
