I wonder if he'd be a candidate to be hired by a team as a President of Baseball Operations role? I don't know him well enough to know whether he's qualified or not. I also don't know what teams are looking for that type of guy.

the speculation is that he might be gunning for that type of role.  Maybe not happy that he'd have to give up some power to Mark Shapiro ?

The Red Sox used to have a first base coach position open.

Ummm, Syndergaard has a 2.77 ERA with 20 K's and 1 BB in 13 innings, and is yet to pitch in the World Series and d'Arnaud has 7 RBI in 11 post season games.

Dickey is playing golf right now.

So yes, I think it is doing some good.

First, I am not sure AA is a very good GM.  This is the first year Toronto has been any good in how long?  And he did it mostly by picking up rentals.

 

Second, the Angels seem like the last place he ever wants to be.  Overbearing owner and manager.  Yet he wants the power.

I can't imagine he'd leave without having something else in play.  

 

We need worker bees at this point.  Scouts, assistants, coaches.  A new director of scouting etc.

That Dickey for Syndergaard and D'Arnaud trade is looking pretty bad about now.

Especially after Price leaves the Jays, their rotation will be mediocre.
